WHY QUILTS

If you have been viewing my blog for a while you may be wondering why the switch to the traditional quilts right now. Well, the Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival for one. It was very inspiring. But even before then I had decided to make a small traditional style quilt. I was in desperate need of tightening some sewing and embroidery skills. I have been using these skills in my larger scale works; the Woman series. So, long story short....its practice, although, fun practice.
